Summer Reading Lists Available on Library Website
The summer reading lists from local high schools and middle schools have been added to the library website. Don't want to think about school when vacation has just started? The lists will be up all summer. But don't wait till the week before school starts! There's a great rush on the titles then, and we often don't have any copies left on the shelves. Summer DDR Parties at Shelf Life
Dance Dance Revolution!
When:
Monday, June 19 -- 3:00-4:30 PM
Monday, July 17 -- 3:00-4:30 PM
Monday, August 14 -- 3:00-4:30 PM
Where:
Shelf Life, our mini-branch in the Echelon Mall (next door to New York, New York and across the hall from the Disney Store).
Who:
If you're entering 6th Grade or higher, come on down, and bring a friend!
What:
DDR, that's what! Also: feel free to bring in your TVs, games, and game consoles (check w/your parents first!) in case you get bored showing off your moves and breaking a sweat.
How:
Just pop in. Bring a friend, too! We'll have other board & card games available, too. Also: refreshments will be provided. Food + DDR + You: Sweet.

Anime & Manga Club Summer Schedule
The Voorhees branch's Anime & Manga club meets all Summer long!
When:
Wednesday, July 5: 3:00-4:30 PM
Monday, July 31: 3:00-4:30 PM
Monday, August 28: 3:00-4:30 PM
Where:
Shelf Life, our mini-branch in the Echelon Mall (it's next to New York, New York and across from the Disney Store).
Who:

We swap manga, loan DVDs, play some anime-related games, discuss the latest trends, and of course, watch anime from the Library's collection and from the nice people at Anime Advocates.
Refreshments are provided!

Book sale at Vogelson
Now that summer vacation is almost here, you'll have some time to read, watch videos and listen to music. Stock up at the Friends of the Library's giant book sale on Friday and Saturday at our Vogelson branch (directions).
